For complete renovations, we coordinate teams, orders and deliveries in the order the work requires. We check that each stage is ready for the next trade before the work moves on.
For example, plumbing and wiring need to be in place before we close walls and ceilings. Measurements for kitchens, doors and fitted storage must also allow for the final floor levels and wall finishes. Coordinating these details helps avoid alterations during installation.
Apartments, Houses and Older Properties
In apartments, we consider building constraints and the use of internal floor area. In houses and older properties, we also consider connections between floors and the condition of the building where it affects the interiors. Property type informs preparation without assuming that every home needs the same work.

How We Prepare for a Renovation
We start by identifying repairs, changes to the layout and the finishes the client wants. Where layout changes or coordination between trades require study, we include design and engineering support before construction.

Quotations, Communication and Project Oversight
The quote identifies the work and supplies included, any items still awaiting a selection or measurement, and the factors that may affect cost or timing. Bespoke furniture, drying times and repairs uncovered during construction can affect the schedule. We explain these dependencies early and, if we uncover a problem or the client requests a change, clarify the implications for the budget and schedule before going ahead.
During the work, we keep the client informed about progress and any decisions needed. Before handover, we check the agreed work, finishes and installed fittings. We also explain initial care and maintenance so the client knows how to look after the materials.
