Plumbing, electricity, gas and telecommunications form part of the technical foundation of a complete renovation. These services are often concealed within walls, ceilings and floors, but determine the comfort, safety and functionality of the home for many years.

MILOBRAS plans and carries out this building-services work exclusively within complete renovations of apartments and houses. We use the agreed layout and intended use to establish the adaptations needed before finishes are installed.

Building Services Before Finishes

We plan pipework and cable routes around the equipment positions and existing services. This helps the trades coordinate their work within the available space.

If these systems are not planned at the right stage, the project may require later cutting, patching and delays, with conflicts between different elements. The aim is to organise the building services before walls are closed, finishes are applied and painting or carpentry begins.

Plumbing for Kitchens, Bathrooms and Utility Rooms

Plumbing must provide a reliable water supply, effective drainage and safe equipment operation. In renovation projects, we assess older pipework, water pressure, traps, access points, drainage gradients, appliance connections, taps, toilets, shower trays, baths and water heaters.

Where the project includes a new kitchen or bathroom, the plumbing must be compatible with the furniture, equipment, waterproofing, wall and floor finishes and sanitaryware. For wet areas, we coordinate this stage with the work on bathroom renovation.

Electrical Systems and Lighting

We position sockets, controls and lighting points around the planned furniture and equipment. This avoids discovering after installation that a connection is inaccessible or inconveniently placed.

A modern kitchen, for example, requires well-distributed circuits for the worktop, oven, hob, fridge, appliances, lighting and ventilation. A bedroom or living room may need correctly positioned sockets, internet points, indirect lighting or provision for air conditioning. MILOBRAS coordinates this stage with the overall project plan.

Gas, Ventilation and Safety

Gas installations require technical care, adequate ventilation and, where applicable, work by qualified professionals. Before altering gas points, we assess equipment positions, compatibility with the kitchen or service area, access and the safety of the solution.

Telecommunications and Home Connectivity

We also consider telecommunications in a renovation project. Internet, television, network points, work areas, equipment, and the need for coverage within the house all influence the use of spaces.

Early technical preparation makes the home more functional and avoids visible extensions, poorly integrated cables and makeshift solutions. This planning is especially important in family apartments, multi-level houses and homes that require dedicated work areas.

Technical Coordination and Finishes

Before surfaces are closed, we check that installed services are compatible with the work that follows. This allows installation and finishing to proceed with the intended connections in the right places.
