Plasterboard Partitions
Plasterboard partitions can reorganise spaces without heavy construction. They can create bedrooms, work areas, storage, suites, internal divisions or service areas. A well-built partition requires a suitable frame, the correct boards, careful joint treatment, insulation where needed and secure connections to the floor, ceiling and existing walls.
The design can also allow for electrical routes, reinforcement for furniture, doors or glass, acoustic insulation and lighting points. These details must be defined before the structure is closed to avoid later alterations.
